[Rin][Len] Paradise of Light and Shadow - Synchronicity 2/3

2009/12/10

music: Hitoshizuku P

the TL is [research paper] --> [story2] --> [story1] -->[story3].
i didnt see kaito's name in the stories ?_?

[story1]
gackpo, a graduate, has questions about the country's dragonism like his granpa who was (prbly) killed. luka, an oracle, has strong beliefs in dragonism, they seem to have nothing in common.

[story2]
(teto calls her boku, it's rly confusing :/) meiko is the first candidate of Diva but she refuses to be one and it's accepted cuz she is a granddaughter of chancellor. thats y teto is chosen to be Diva. teto n meiko r best friends even tho teto is a girl of a poor family. meiko is younger than teto

[story3]
while they(len, gackpo n meiko) r taking a rest to sleep, len n gackpo have a talk about Diva cuz len's been feeling the shared sense with rin is becoming weaker. gackpo tells Diva is supposed to have both sides of light and shadow to suppress the dragon but he assumes rin has only the shadow side since meiko says len's singing voice is light. also he tells the light side represents life, so rin who doesnt have the light side is prbly losing her life as she sings for the dragon

[research paper]
research on a dragon-type high-dimensional phase body
we, the members of council found another dragon body exists in a different space and tried to displace the 1st dragon's space to the 2nd dragon's space by using a magic eye mask and diva. the 1st dragon looks like a human girl. the trial was successful but the 1st dragon lost its memory and it became impossible to approach the 1st dragon from 3D even for diva. but synchronizing with the 2nd dragon, diva can go into the 1st dragon's space (impossible to come back tho). without diva, the dragon gets furious and frightens humans again, so we have to carefully take care of "her." the best way is not to let her remember she is a dragon, thus we named her "miku" and began to treat like a human.

It'd be nice if you could put this into a legible language that most humans speak. Maybe you could try english? -gasp- What a concept?!

Learn to type and maybe I'll give this blog some merit.

In other words, from what I can tell...

Kamui Gakupo has doubts about the governance of the oracle over the lands due to the beliefs of dragonology due to the Dragon which must be appeased by the songs of a Diva, to prevent it from attacking the humans. Gakupo's grandfather was killed, probably by the dragon, and he probably sees the Diva system as something abhorent to him. Luka is that oracle ruling over the world. Kamui voices his opinions to Luka and is punished by him. I'll explain more later.

Here is the rest of the 'translated' summary.

Luka has very strong feelings for dragonology, and has nothing in common with Kamui, and throws Kamui into a fairly elegant dungeon cell. Meiko was originally to be the first candidate for being the next Diva but instead Teto was chosen mainly because she refused and was the daughter of the chancellor. Even though Meiko and Teto were best friends, Teto was forced to become the next Diva due to being just a girl from a poor family, with no one to prevent her becoming the next Diva. Also, Meiko is actually younger than Teto, but this probably had nothing to do with her being chosen.

When Len storms the oracle's castle to rescue Kamui with the help of Kaito, he tries to kill Luka with his sword, but is stopped by Meiko. Len and Meiko get into a large fight with their swords, and it only stops when Meiko realizes the similarities between the current Diva (Rin) and Len, and how Len seems to have a greatly deep connection with the current Diva. She sees his resolve to rescue his twin sister Rin, but when she tries to finish off Len, she is stopped by an unknown person aiding Luka (for some reason... I don't know either, don't ask).

Eventually when they free Kamui, Meiko decided to aid Len on his quest. As a result, Len, Meiko, Kamui and Kaito journey the land searching for the first Dragon, Miku, since she guards the gateway to where Rin is. Luka sends soliders after Len and the others to kill them. However, Len and the others defeat them. After noticing he had suffered a wound during the battle, he starts to feel his connection with Rin getting weaker.

When Len, Kaito, Meiko and Kamui are having a rest at an unknown location before continuing, in order to recover from any injuries, Kamui notices Len's distress. They have a talk about the Diva system, and Kamui reveals that the Diva is supposed to have both the Light and the Shadow in order to supress and appease the dragon, as a form of balance. Due to being twins, Len only possessed the Light through his singing voice where as Rin only possessed the Shadow through her singing voice, due to the fact that the Light and Shadow were split between them.

Meiko and Kamui assume that since Rin only possesses the Shadow side and not the light, and since Light respresents life, Rin is probably dying due to her singing, slowly killing her like a virus. Meiko says that Len's singing voice is Light and that his singing voice could break the darkness.

Thanks so much DestinySeraphim for your "translation" of the summary. The story makes so much for sense now.

Thanks. The part about the Light and Shadow being split between Len and Rin was just an assumption on my part, but it seems to make more sense since why would Rin just have the Shadow side unless something had caused that, and since Rin and Len are twins... you get the idea. Anyway, thanks! I can not wait until the 3rd part to Synchronicity comes out, as well as an English version of the web comic as well.

I'm pretty sure that the person who stopped Meiko from attacking Luka was Ruko, another UTAUloid.

Aërendyll said...

The unknown person who stopped Meiko's attack is Yokune Ruko, who is an UTAU just like Teto. (Teto is NOT a Vocaloid in any way, just so everyone knows.)
